World Walk! Seed Talk!
Hope Seeds is celebrating its 10th year of sending quality garden seeds to hungry nations, and you are invited to celebrate with us. Join us for a one of a kind outing for all ages with games, crafts, music, food, and guest speakers.
Bring the kids for musical chairs, bean bag toss, and get a "passport" as you take the World Walk to learn more about the 40 countries Hope Seeds has sent garden seed to. Also, on the walk is great information about the many types of garden seed we send, how to save seed of selected vegetables, and see how the seed is prepared for shipment overseas to missionaries for distribution to hungry people.
Come and enjoy music from several local choirs, musicians, and Praise Teams. And, make sure you don't miss our special guest, Don Wharton, Christian songwriter and singer who will give a special concert .
Special presentations will include: "Food Geography" and "Bugs - The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly!", and Missionaries will share their exclusive stories. Also, Hope Seeds will premiere it's new DVD produced for us by Salt n' Light Productions of Lakewood Ranch.
Enjoy good eats with hamburgers and hot dogs, popcorn and ice cream, soft drinks and cookies... Yummy for all ages.
Every "Kid" of all ages will receive a free packet of bean seed for attending... just in time for your garden.
Hope Seeds has been sending quality garden seed to poor and developing nations around the world for 10 years - over 8 million packets of seed, each containing an average of 200 seeds per packet... which means we have sent out 1.6 billion seeds... that makes for a lot of produce. With every shipment the Good News of the Gospel was sent as a witness of the Hope we have in Jesus Christ! Plant a Seed! Feed a Soul!
